Whistle stop storytelling trip to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan kicks off tomorrow. Publisher of iG’s Tales – Caboodle Books Ltd – has secured me a short tour of Jordan with the British Council.
BC has a Kids Read initiative and I am their guinea ig. I have to go in incognito and my mission is to launch a guerrilla raid of top tale telling tips.
First objective is to infiltrate the Children’s Museum in Amman on Sunday followed by incursions into several Jordanian schools. Once I’ve got the lay of the land there’ll be a sortie to Zaatari-the Syrian refugee camp.
Will send coded messages when and if able. If communications cease please come and get me as I have to spin some yarns in Moscow end of October.
