Poeticomedian Jackie Juno and Storysinger Clive PiG
proudly present their brand new show
The double headed, four legged hermaphroditic
Bardic Beast of Exeter.

In January, Jackie Juno and Clive PiG were joint winners of the ancient Celtic competition for the Bardic Chair of
Exeter, and after realising that the actual chair was not big enough for both of them to sit on they decided that
the best way forward was to devise a show combining their zany talents.

One dark winter's night Jackie and Clive sat beside a crackling fire around a bubbling cauldron and conjured up a
unique hybrid creative creature: a double headed, four legged, hermaphroditic Bardic Beast of Exeter. It was a yarn-
spinning, shape-shifting, word crunching, poetry punching, musical whirligig of a thing. Those who first saw it
described it as 'Johnny Rotten and Medusa's love child'.

Jackie has appeared at many festivals and prestigious venues including Glastonbury Festival, Bath Fringe, Melkweg
Amsterdam , The Hackney Empire and Hammersmith Palais. She has headlined the Wondermentalist Cabaret hosted
by Matt Harvey of Radio 4. Matt says of her 'Jackie is warm and witty, frank and feisty, but above all, very very funny'.
As a singer-songwriter Clive has toured the US and Canada and released 3 albums; as a storyteller he's a regular at the
Glastonbury Festival and WOMAD and as a poet he has performed with John Hegley, who's called him 'the rock'n'roll
storyteller'.

Jackie and Clive are two of the wildest wordslingers in the west and their combined talents have created a Stand up
Poetry Cabaret featuring twisted tales of schizophrenic dogs and Betterware catalogues plus songs to amuse and bemuse.

Mesmerising and tantalising, the dynamic duo from Dartmoor will have you howling with laughter, squealing in delight
and squirming in your seats. After an encounter with the Brand New Bardic Beast of Exeter they can guarantee you'll be
left with a wicked grin on your face.
